Welcome to the website of First Baptist Church. We are an independent Baptist church committed to Biblical faith, hope, and love, by God's grace and for God's glory.

First Baptist Church is:

• a close-knit partnership of men, women, boys, and girls striving for the glory of God
• a group of friends who share in common a deep love for God
• a family of brothers and sisters in Christ who wish to build one another up in the faith
• a church of Jesus Christ that seeks to worship God in reverence and in awe

First Baptist Church has a rich and varied history. As an independent church, we are not part of any denomination. Established in 1878, the church has grown through the ministry of many Christians over the years to become what it is today.

We are far from perfect. Those things we do well, we do by the grace of God. By God’s grace we will do better where we need to improve. Will you join us so that we can help one another serve God for his glory?
